At the end of every year, I like to look back on everything that has happened on Mad in Crafts over the past 12 months. I am almost always thinking about what to do next, and I forget to reflect on what has been accomplished. To get a sense of what kind of year I have had on the blog, I like to round up my favorite posts of the year and share them with you. After I pulled my personal top 10 posts of 2018, I realized that just about every one of them featured a tool, technique, or craft supply that I was using for the first time. I love trying out new craft ideas, so it makes sense that my favorite projects started with an “I wonder if this would work” mentality!
