Homemade Valentine’s Day treats don’t get much easier than this. These pretzel kisses are a take on the traditional pretzel and Hershey’s kisses treat that you have likely made at some point in your life. Dress up the pretzels with a few candy lips and give them to your sweetie!
You can make these pretzel kisses with standard pretzels, but my mom introduced me to these pretzel crisps and they are the bomb.
Arrange the pretzel crisps on a cookie sheet. Unwrap the Hershey’s kisses and place one on each pretzel crisp. Place the cookie sheet in a 350 degree oven for 1-2 minutes, just to melt the chocolate.
Remove the cookie sheet from the oven, and press a few candy lips into the melty chocolate. I found the Wilton candy lips (affiliate link) at Walmart in their Valentine baking display.
Let the chocolate cool and harden, serve, and enjoy!
Once the chocolate has hardened, these package up very nicely to hand out as school treats too!
I have more chocolate-y Valentine’s goodness coming up this week, so check back tomorrow! You might also like these older posts:
