No-Sew Mason Jar Sleeve

Mason jars are a popular way to package holiday gifts.  Angie from The Country Chic Cottage and Crafts with Jars even put together an enormous list of Mason Jar Gifts.  But even the most thoughtful present can use a bit of prettying up.  Today I will share my stupidly easy way to add a pretty sleeve to a mason jar.

If you have been dutifully saving the scraps from your other plaid shirt projects, you already have some shirt cuffs lying around.  Today and tomorrow you will see how to put those cuffs to work!

To make a mason jar sleeve, you will need:

pint sized mason jar
scissors
button down shirt

Even if you haven’t been making plaid decorations by following along with my series, you may have an old button down shirt lying around.  Just cut the cuff off of that button down shirt, and you have a mason jar sleeve!

Most shirt sleeves easily fit over pint-sized jars without any adjustments.

Slip the cuff onto the jar, and your mason jar is all dressed up for gift-giving!  This particular cuff was ruffled and pretty, but any shirt cuff would work just as well.
