I am so cheap about buying decorations for The Mad House. I like having interesting or beautiful items around the house, I just hate paying an arm and a leg for them. That’s why I am always looks for ways to DIY a cute item for our home for little to no money. Grab some copper push pins from Dollar Tree to make this studded heart frame for around $2!

The only tricky part of making this frame is to make sure the pins don’t poke through the back of the frame. Leave a 1/4″ gap between the bottom of the pin head and the frame to avoid them poking through. If you have any that do come through, I suggest you then hot glue a piece of thick felt to the back of the frame to cover any sharp points.
