DOLLAR STORE CACTUS WREATH

DOLLAR STORE CACTUS WREATH

I recently came home from a trip to Phoenix (which you can see more about on my YouTube channel).  Whenever I visit the Southwest, I love how incredibly different the plant life is from what we have here in Michigan.  The plants that we grow indoors on our windowsills grow everywhere!  Cacti and succulents are still popular motifs in crafting and home decor  I used a few items from the Dollar Tree to make this adorable dollar store cactus wreath.

I was so excited when I found these little faux cacti at Dollar Tree.  They are in the same kind of plastic pots that their faux succulents come in, so you can just pull them right out of the pots and use them however you would like.

The tutorial for this project is ridiculously simple.  Just hot glue the cacti to the inside bottom of a grapevine wreath (also from the dollar store).  If you are using high temp glue, you will need to hold each cactus in place for a bit while the glue cools and dries.  Finally I added a bow to match the pink “cactus bloom” on my middle cactus.

For just a few dollars and a few minutes of your time, you can have a sweet dollar store cactus wreath for Spring.  If you would like to make this wreath, but can’t find these items at your local Dollar Tree I will include some Amazon links below.

These are all affiliate links, if you make a purchase (of anything on Amazon, not just these items) after clicking through, I will earn a small commission. Ads and affiliate links are the way I am able to keep this website running and to offer you free tutorials all year long. Thank you so much for supporting me and Mad in Crafts!

Your wreath is darling! I love the bright colors for spring. I’ll have to look for the grapevine wreath in our store, I’d love to make one of these for our front door:) Pinned!
