USING MUGS AS GIFT WRAP

USING MUGS AS GIFT WRAPS

Do you get frustrated by how much money and time is spent on gift wrap when it just ends up in the trash?  It’s kind of nuts when you stop to think about it.  When possible, I like to look for gift wrapping ideas that are actually part of the gift itself.  Here are a couple of ways that you can give coffee mugs not only as a gift, but as gift wrap!

Personal Creations carries dozens of mug designs that can be personalized to suit everyone on your list this year.  I personalized a few mugs for my parents and in-laws, and today I am going to show you how you could use those mugs as gift wrap for other little presents.

Mug Gift

The simplest way to turn a mug into a gift is to put together a coffee themed gift.  Here I tucked some specialty coffee into the mug and used coffee filters in place of tissue paper.  You could also add in a coffee store gift card or some homemade biscotti.

Cookie Cutter Mug Gift

Another gift option is to the carry the theme of the mug into the gift itself.  I paired this Christmas Sweets mug with a pretty cookie cutter and a flour sack towel that I embellished with iron-on glittery snowflakes.

Smores Mug Gift

For a S’mores themed gift I added some chocolate cookies into the No One Spoils Them More mug.  A cute marshmallow snowman ornament finishes the gift off.

Baseball Mug Gift

You can even use a personalized mug to wrap a pricier gift.  Tuck a few tickets to a baseball game into the Love You More Than… mug for the sports fan on your list.

Personal Creations Mugs

Right now you can get 20% off of your entire Personal Creations purchase by using the coupon code, PCSM20. No minimum purchase is required, so you can use the code on one mug or a dozen!

Personal Creations is also giving away a $500 gift card to their online store.  I have personalized so many things from them this year, and it’s always so fun to decide how to make each item unique.  The giveaway will be open from December 1 to December 17 at midnight PST so get your entries in now!

I would personalize a casserole dish for my MIL, so when she brings it to parties and potlucks, she’ll get it back.

I would get personalized ornaments for my kids. That way it would much easier to know which ornament belongs to which kid. 😉

My FiL is always losing my MiLs Tupperware…I’d like to personalize some for her…and my Gma is known for her cakes (among other things)…so perhaps cake containers for her. My dad is known for his wild rice hotdish, ranch oyster crackers n deep fried fish…maybe something for him too!
