The Ultimate BBQ Beer Cocktail: Cuban Bul

You are all invited to virtual BBQ today!  Some of my blogger friends and I are cohosting an online cookout, complete with recipes, décor, and fun!

My contribution to the party, as it so often is, is the beer.  Nine times out of ten I would just hand you a cold one straight out of the cooler, but today I am getting a little fancy on you.  I am prepping up some Cuban bul beer cocktails.

The Cuban bul is a light and refreshing beer cocktail that is perfect for a sweltering summer cookout.  You can make up a large batch ahead of time, and guests can serve themselves throughout the party.

To make this beer cocktail, you need beer (a light colored beer like a pilsner or wheat beer), ginger ale (Vernor’s is the original and best), and limes.  That’s it!  Delicious AND economical.

Mix the ingredients together, but watch out for the carbonation!  If you are making a larger batch, you can float some of the lime rinds in the pitcher too.

You can serve it over ice or in a frosty mug or jar.  To frost your drinkware, rinse the inside and outside of the glasses with water, and put them right into the freezer.  This will give them a nice all-over frost to immediately cool your guests’ drinks.

Garnish those bad boys with a slice of lime and enjoy!  Your friends will love the sweet and tangy taste of these beer cocktails, and you will love how easy they are to make!
