Getting together with friends and family is one of my favorite parts of the holidays. But sometimes people get so stressed trying to cook up the perfect menu or creating elaborate table centerpieces that they lose sight of the fun of entertaining. Here is an easy and inexpensive plan to help you stress less this year.
It’s easy to set a festive mood without buying a million Christmas CDs (although I do that anyway because I lurrrve them). Flip open your laptop and head to Pandora, a free internet music service. Learn more about it here.
Now that the Christmas tunes are pumping, it’s time to whip up some tasty eats. If you keep the ingredients for this simple dessert on hand, you have a delicious and cheap dessert that will be ready in under an hour. As a bonus, having this baking in the oven makes your house smell just as good as any boutique candle would!
(If you have a little more time on your hands, you can make this version of the dessert.)
