Every Fall my cousin and I co-host an OktoberFEAST dinner party at her house. We spend the day cooking up good German recipes while listening to oom pah pah music. We invite family and friends over to share the meal with us. I keep saying that I want to make something special for us to wear for our Oktoberfest celebration each year. I’d love to make dirndls for each of us, but my sewing skills are way too limited. Instead, I used polymer clay to make some simple pretzel necklaces that are still very appropriate for Oktoberfest.
This short video will show you how easy it is to make your own pretzel pendants. I post creative videos twice a week, so subscribe to my YouTube channel to catch them all!
I used glass glitter as the pretzel salt, but you could use other kinds of glitter or real salt for your version. If you make your own version, tag me on social media — I’m @madincrafts everywhere. I would love to see them!
