NAIL POLISH MARBLED EASTER EGGS

Marbling Plastic Eggs with Nail Polish

I have done some marbling projects in the past, turning old beads into pretty new craft supplies and plain paper into wall art.  I wanted to incorporate that current trend into my Spring and Easter decorating this year too.  With some spray paint and supplies from the dollar store, you can make elegant nail polish marbled eggs yourself!

What You Need to Make Nail Polish Marbled Easter Eggs

marbled plastic eggs

I had a package of tiny plastic eggs leftover from last year’s Easter baskets, so that is what I used for this project.  You can find eggs of all sizes at the dollar store as well as a rainbow of nail polish colors.  After giving all my eggs a coat of Plutonium’s LaLa, I got to work on the marbling.

How to Marble Easter Eggs with Nail Polish

Once you have the basic process mastered, you can make dozens of beautiful eggs in no time at all!  Add them to Easter baskets, string them up to make a pretty garland, or hang them from a tree outside!

My 3 year old and I tried marbling paper and eggs with paint last week, can’t wait it try it out with nail polish! Although I’ll be using boiled eggs, so will have to keep plenty of remover nearby!

    Thanks for the tutorial!
