WHAT IS NEEDED TO MAKE A NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS DESSERT BOARD
I have included links to all the items used in this Nightmare Before Christmas treat board, but you can choose whatever sweet treats you like best. You can even make a batch of my Nightmare Before Christmas cookies to serve on the platter.
You will need vanilla frosting and black gel frosting to create Jack’s head in the middle of the board. You can make your own buttercream or you can take some help from the store. You want the frosting texture to be thick enough to hold its shape but soft enough to be scoopable.

WHAT IS A FROSTING BOARD?
Frosting boards, or dessert boards, are a sweet take on the popularity of charcuterie boards and butter boards. Frosting is placed in the center of a serving platter or cutting board and surrounded by sweet and salty cookies, candies, and other treats.
The board is meant to be a shareable dessert. Friends and family can grab their favorite treats, and then dunk them in the frosting in the middle. It’s indulgent and fun making it a perfect dessert for a party!
