HOW TO USE THE NEW BUCILLA WEAVE IT ‘N’ LEAVE IT KITS

HOW TO USE THE NEW BUCILLA WEAVE IT ‘N’ LEAVE IT KITS

One of the new products I saw at CHA earlier this year that I was super geeked for was the new weaving kit line from Bucilla.  They will be producing a line of products that let crafters try out the weaving trend without a huge investment.  They were kind enough to send me one of their Weave It n’ Leave It kits to try out, and I wanted to share my experience with you.  I was not paid to post about this product, but I am a Plaid Ambassador so I got to try the product out for free.

The kit contains the supplies you need to make a small weaving project.  I used a bit of extra yarn from my stash, but you could probably get away with only using what comes in the kit.

The kit comes with detailed instructions, but I find that I catch onto new techniques more easily when I see someone doing them in action.  That is why I made a video to go along with this post.  It’s not one of my typical short videos, but takes you along as I used one of these kits for the very first time.  Find even more fun creative tutorials by subscribing to my YouTube channel.

I am pretty happy with how my weaving project turned out, considering this was my very first time trying my hand at this style of crafting. The Weave It n’ Leave It kits come in a few different shapes and sizes, butI believe you can only find these kits online and at Hobby Lobby right now.  Hopefully you will be able to find them in other crafts stores as more people discover how cool these kits are.

If you would like to hear more about the new products I saw at the Craft and Hobby Association trade show earlier this year, check out this wrap-up post.
