CUTTING AND USING THE CHEERS SVG
Once you have the SVG saved to your device, you can upload it into your favorite design softwares for your Cricut, Silhouette, Scan n Cut, or another digital cutting machine.
I used my Cricut Explore 3 to cut out my banner pieces. I placed a piece of glittered cardstock on a Cricut mat and allowed the machine to quickly cut out the banner pieces. The SVG includes two holes at the top of each letter. When you weed your banner material, make sure you remove those pieces as well.
Once the letters are cut and weeded, you can begin to thread the banner onto a length of ribbon or twine. I like to thread the twine from the front to the back through the first hole, and then from the back to the front for the second hole. This ensures that as little of the banner is covered with twine or ribbon as possible.
After all your letters are threaded onto the twine, you can add the banner to your party decorations!
USING THE BONUS WEEDED CARDSTOCK
Because I designed this SVG cut file to be an outline of the letters of the word CHEERS, when you cut the words with your digital cutting machine, the interior of those outlines are also perfect letters. Don’t waste them! You can glue those letters to another sign or lay them out on your bar or food table.
LAYERED PARTY BANNER SVGS
The outlined CHEERS banner is just one of 6 banner designs included in my Party Banner SVG Bundle. You can use these SVGs separately or layer them to add more depth and color! The zip file includes SVG, PDF, JPG, PNG, and EPS files.
Do you like the font that I used in this design? This design uses the Carose font (affiliate link) from Font Bundles. Check out this post to find all of my favorite fonts, as well as links to buy them and links to the SVGs which use them!
