Today I wanted to share this super quick and easy DIY with you. In just a few minutes, you can turn a dollar store vase into this pretty faux sea glass painted vase. Place it on your Spring mantel, add some fresh flowers and use it as your Easter centerpiece, or slip in a battery-powered candle and set it on your bathroom counter.
I used Martha Stewart Sea Glass paint to achieve this beautiful sea glass finish on a vase from Dollar Tree. I used three of the five different colors available on my vase so that you can see the colors work really well together too! (FYI, this is not a sponsored post, but Plaid did let me try the paint out for free.)
This short video takes you through the simple process adding a faux sea glass finish to glass. I add two new videos to my YouTube channel each week, so subscribe to join in on the fun!
This paint is an indoor/outdoor formula so you can paint pieces for your patio without having to worry about leaving them outside. You can also make the paint finish dishwasher-safe by curing it in the oven. What would you use this pretty vase for? Let me know in the comments!
