I know I am late to the party, but I just discovered the wonders of cold brew coffee last year. You get all the smooth, rich taste of coffee without any of the stomach irritation of regular drip coffee. For a while, I thought I could only get cold brew coffee from a coffee shop, but a little bit of research showed me that it isn’t too hard to make at home. When I found a few mason jar products meant for making cold brew coffee, I was so excited to make my first batch at home.

No Mess Cold Brew Coffee
- Fill the mason jar with 8 cups of water.
- Insert the filter in the top of the jar.
- Fill the mason jar infuser filter with approximately 1 cup of coffee grounds.
You can adjust this measurement to make the cold brew stronger or less strong.
- Stir the grounds until they are saturated with water.
- Screw the mason jar lid onto the jar and let the coffee brew in your refrigerator overnight.
- Remove the filter insert, and your coffee is ready!
And don’t throw those used coffee grounds away! You can use them to make a big batch of Bulletproof Coffee Scrub.
HOW DO YOU SERVE COLD BREW COFFEE?
I like to drink my cold brew over ice with a bit of cream and vanilla, but you can also mix up 2 parts cold brew to 1 part water and then heat it in the microwave for a strong cup of hot black coffee. Do you think you will be trying to make your own cold brew at home?
