WHAT ARE PUDDING SHOTS?
Pudding shots are the underrated cousin of jello shots. They are just as good of a vehicle for booze, and they are arguably more delicious!
Like with jello shots, you sub out some of the liquids called for by the package directions with alcohol. For these smores pudding shots, we will be using marshmallow vodka. Smirnoff makes Fluffed Marshmallow vodka that you can buy in the store, or you can try making your own.
MAKING BOOZY SMORES PUDDING
First, you will need to make sure you have all the ingredients needed for the recipe. You can actually buy graham cracker crumbs, but it’s easy and more cost-effective to just buy a box of crackers and crush them yourself in a food storage bag. Set aside the cracker crumbs for garnish later.
I cheat a bit and use instant chocolate pudding mix, but you can also make your own pudding from scratch. Just make the recipe with half the amount of cold milk or cream you would typically use.
Mix the pudding in a large bowl, then add the marshmallow vodka and stir to incorporate it.
Once the pudding is finished, divide it into four jars. You should have about 2 1/2 cups of pudding mixture so choose your jars accordingly. You can also serve the pudding in bowls or cups, if needed.
Refrigerate the pudding until you are ready to serve it (up to 24 hours).
HOW TO GARNISH A SMORES PUDDING SHOT
We have chocolate pudding. We have marshmallow vodka. But we are still missing one key flavor of a classic smore: graham cracker! Sprinkle each jar of pudding with a bit of crushed graham cracker to complete the delicious smores flavor profile.
If you want to be really fancy, you can further garnish the smores pudding with mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and squares of a milk chocolate bar. Serve the pudding to your guests with spoons so they can dig into this tasty treat!

These were so strong. I even used less vodka than the recipe called for. It might be better with rumchatta or Irish cream.
