CREATIVE WAYS TO USE SHRINK PLASTIC
HOW TO USE SHRINK PLASTIC
You can purchase sheets or regular or printable sheet plastic at the craft store or online. You can draw and decorate the plastic with permanent ink markers or permanent stamp inks which will hold up to the high temps of the oven, heat gun, or toaster oven.
Cut your designs out with small scissors or a digital cutting machine. Use a hole punch to add holes for jewelry or ornaments. Then place them on a cookie sheet and into a preheated oven. The oven temperature may vary from brand to brand, so be sure to read the manufacturer’s directions for your brand of shrink plastic.
Almost immediately, the plastic will begin to shrink and curl while baking. Don’t worry! The curling will resolve itself as the plastic continues to shrink. Remove your projects from the oven and let them cool before turning them into fun accessories or useful household items.

Shrinky dinks are such fun I have never grown out of them having first discovered them at the age of eight. The cactus fairy lights are gorgeous. Thank you so much for including my magnetic board travel pins.
