While I generally think any salsa is good salsa, my favorite is the thin, pureed variety you get in a good Mexican restaurant. The kind that comes with fresh, thin chips and that I literally have to move out of my reach lest I eat so much that I don’t have room for my dinner. That kind. The best thing about blended, restaurant-style salsa is also the worst part of serving it at a party. Today I am not only sharing a recipe for delicious beer salsa, but I am recommending a way to solve the issue of runny salsa!

HOW TO SERVE RESTAURANT-STYLE BEER SALSA
This recipe makes a very thin, restaurant-style salsa, which can be pretty messy on a plate of football game snacks. Instead of scooping the salsa directly onto their plates, your guests can grab a mini taco boat to use a bowl for the salsa.
These handy tortilla bowls corral the salsa without giving you more bowls to wash at the end of the night. Now you can serve restaurant-style salsa at your next homegating party without all the mess!
HOMEMADE BEER SALSA RECIPE
I made my salsa in my food processor, but you can make it in a blender just as easily. I like this salsa pretty process, but you can blend the ingredients for very short bursts to create a chunkier salsa.
Choose between jalapeno peppers and serrano peppers for this recipe. For a spicy salsa, leave the seeds in the peppers. For milder salsa, put on a pair of food-safe disposable gloves and remove the seeds and ribs of the pepper.
Finally, you can also add in some fresh cilantro before blending the salsa. I think cilantro tastes like soap, so I leave it out when I make this!
