EASY INSTANT POT CHEESY POTATOES RECIPE
You cook this recipe in stages but it is still much quicker than a typical cheesy potato recipe. You will make use of both your Instant Pot’s pressure cooker feature and the saute feature!
Instant Pot Cheesy Potatoes

Ingredients
- 3 lb Yukon Gold potatoes peeled and cut into ¼” slices
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups cup white cheddar cheese shredded
- ½ cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
Instructions
- Place the sliced potatoes into the Instant Pot with 1 cup of water and cook Manual High for 1 minute.
- Do a Quick Release of the pressure once the potatoes are done.
- Turn on the oven broiler.
- Remove the potatoes from the instant pot and put them into the baking dish.
- Turn the instant pot onto sauté.
- Combine white cheddar, heavy cream, chicken soup, salt & pepper.
- Once cheese has melted, pour the mixture over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- Broil in the oven for 3-5 minutes or until cheese has fully melted.
