I love to travel, see new places, and explore the things that make that area of the world special. However, I often forget to do that exploring in my own community! If you are looking for encouragement to get out and discover all that your hometown has to offer, you should print off my free printable local adventures challenge calendar! It’s full of fun prompts that will have you finding adventure right in your own backyard.

WHAT ADVENTURES ARE INCLUDED ON THE CALENDAR?
I wanted to choose prompts for this challenge calendar that would encourage you to learn more about the community in which you live. If you live in an urban or suburban area, you should be able to accomplish all the adventures in your own area. If you live in a more rural area, you might have to do a little more traveling to accomplish all of the prompts.
If you look closely, you will see a pattern with the adventures in each column. The first column contains super simple outdoor adventures. You may not even have to leave your own home for these activities. The second column features exercise activities that will get your heart pumping! The third column encourages you to try some new hobbies in your area. The fourth column prompts you to patronize small businesses in your town. Next, in the fifth column, you will find activities related to arts and culture in your community. The sixth column is where you let loose a little bit! Finally, the last column suggests things to do that benefit you and your community.
You can use this printable as a daily calendar and check each day’s activity off as you go. You can also use it as more of a bucket list, and cross off the prompts as you finish each adventure.
