Even as an English teacher, I can admit that working on grammar skills can be boring. That’s why it is great to incorporate topics that kids love into the lessons. What little kid doesn’t love learning about dinosaurs? I created these free printable dinosaur mad libs to make learning about parts of speech fun and engaging for young students.

PRINTABLE MAD LIBS DIRECTIONS
There are a few ways you can use these dino mad libs. I created the printables in two separate pages, one for writing your answers and one with the story.
If just one person is using the mad libs, print one copy of the story sheet and one copy of the answer sheet. Fill out the answer sheet before looking at the story sheet. That way you will choose silly words without being influenced by the plot of the story. You can then use those answers to read the story when you are done.
If you are doing the mad libs in pairs or small groups, you will just need one copy of the story and answer sheets. One person from the group should be chosen to fill out the sheets. He or she will gather answers from the group and write them on the answer sheet. That same person would then read the finished story.
If you are using the printables with a larger group, print out one story sheet and enough answer sheets for the whole group. The teacher or leader should fill out the answers with input from the group. The group can take turns suggesting answers or you can vote on your favorites. The teacher or leader would then read the final story to the whole group.
