In keeping with the other spa-themed homemade gifts I am sharing this week, these snowball bath bombs are a perfect gift for anyone on your list. Because they are dye-free, they can still be used by people with very sensitive skin. I chose to add fragrance oils to mine, but if you are concerned that they may irritate your giftee’s skin you can easily leave them out. The coconut oil and cornstarch will still make the bath water silky, while the citric acid adds some fun fizz.
I used the same bath bomb recipe here that I did for these strawberry bombs. I used equal parts of citric acid, baking soda, epsom salts, and corn starch, and then bound that mixture together with coconut oil. I melt a bit of coconut oil and add it little by little to the dry ingredients until the mixture begins to hold together.
I used Lorann flavoring oils for these snowballs, but you can use your favorite essential oils instead. I will add links to some of my favorite bath bomb supplies at the end of this post.
Wouldn’t it be adorable to package a few of these snowball bath bombs with a pair of cozy mittens? I think that would be a thoughtful and memorable Christmas gift!
