This week I am sharing way to have a memorable football party without spending much money at all. The backdrop for my football party food table can be made for roughly two dollars!
A wall of twisty streamers makes a colorful impact for next to nothing. You can pick up a package of two rolls of streamers at the dollar store. Just be sure to use painter’s tape or scotch tape to hang them, so you don’t have to scrub glue off of your walls after the party.
When you shop for ingredients for your party snacks, have the bagger pack them up in paper bags. Then you can turn one of those bags into this simple “Concessions” banner. I cut a triangle template out of junk mail and used it to trace enough triangles onto a flattened out paper bag. I cut the triangles out, taped them to some dollar store twine, and added the lettering to each pennant.
It took me less than an hour to set up the party backdrop, and that is including the time I spent making the paper bag bunting. Come back tomorrow to see how easy it is to make a stamped football table cover.
