I was browsing through the dollar store last week when I spotted pretty plastic terrariums. I picked out a few more supplies from the dollar store to complete my cute succulent terrarium. If you have a bit of free time and a few dollars, you can make a 5 minute dollar store succulent terrarium of your own!
5 MINUTE DOLLAR STORE SUCCULENT TERRARIUM
What Do You Need to Make a Dollar Store Terrarium
I own a glass terrarium like this already, but I am always worried about it breaking. The dollar store versions are plastic, making them more durable while you are working and when the finished terrarium is displayed.
You can customize your terrarium by choosing different decorative rocks, different succulents, and different fairy garden decorations. I have found that Dollar Tree has a pretty good selection of vase fillers and faux succulents, but you can find similar products online or at the craft store. You may just have to pay a little bit more for them.

What To Do With Your Succulent Terrarium
I especially like these terrariums because they have both a loop for hanging and a flat bottom. That way you can choose whether you would like to hang the terrarium or set it on a flat surface. These terrariums would make beautiful decor for your home, but would also be very thoughtful gifts. Mother’s Day, Teacher Appreciation, and bridal shower season are all coming up soon!
