April showers bring May flowers, but what does March bring? Well, around here, March brings mostly mud.
Which is fine.
Mud has its place in the world, but it isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing thing in nature. So to perk up those of you who live in a muddy March part of the world, here are some pictures of what we can look forward to in just a few months:
Falling water instead of freezing water,
the songbirds’ return,
hothouse orchids,
and and trading slippers for sandals!
The sun
(do you see the way the bridge’s reflection in the water makes a whole sun?)
and flowers who mirror it.
Pastel
and bright,
pink and white,
and green, green, GREEN!
Welcome back friends who buzz
and those who flutter by.
So hurry, March, April, May,
don’t delay!
I’m ready for a warm Spring day!
