HOW TO USE THE FREE PRINTABLE CLEANING CHECKLIST
Cleaning your whole house to host a major holiday can be daunting. The best way to deal with the tasks at hand is to be organized and deliberate. Begin by printing my holiday cleaning checklist. Then sit down with a cup of coffee or tea and brainstorm what needs to be done in each room of your home.
You can print out two versions of this free printable checklist and dedicate one to cleaning and one to decorating or you can combine both tasks on one sheet. You can designate which rooms get which decorations. Wreaths in the living room, the centerpiece in the dining room, and so on.
Then keep the list somewhere handy like in a household binder or stuck to the fridge. As you complete tasks, check them off the list. You will have a good sense not only of what cleaning is left to do, but also the satisfaction of seeing how much you have already accomplished!
USING THE THANKSGIVING DINNER CHECKLIST
Prepping a Thanksgiving meal is a huge job, no matter how many people will be attending. Keep track of everything you need for your Thanksgiving menu by filling out my free printable Thanksgiving checklist for the grocery store.
I like to section out grocery lists by department, so you can get everything you need from one part of the store before moving on to another. It saves time zigzagging all around the store for everything you need. For instance, you would put all the ingredients and non-perishable items you need for desserts and side dishes under the Pantry category. Onions, carrots, sweet potatoes, and other veggies would be listed under the Produce category.
This organization system makes sure you don’t leave the store without an essential Thanksgiving food like, you know, the turkey!
