Has your family ventured out to the zoo yet this summer? Penguins are one of my favorite animals to watch at the zoo. The cute, Antarctic animal was the inspiration for my newest painted animal jar. In this tutorial, I am showing you how easy it is to create your own painted penguin mason jar!

HOW TO PAINT A PENGUIN JAR
In this short video, I walk you through the process of painting this super cute penguin mason jar. I have hundreds of other creative videos on my YouTube channel and subscribing is free! Hop oer and check my channel out.
To get the best results with your penguin jar:
- Allow each layer to fully dry before moving on to a new color. Use a hair dryer on its cool setting to speed up the process if you are impatient like I am!
- Apply two coats to lighter colors like white and yellow to ensure full coverage.
- Use brushes that are the correct size and shape for the part of the jar you are painting (small round brushes for the cheeks, larger flat brushes for the black body).
- If you make a mistake, paint over it!
