One of my goals for the blog this year was to really jump into the world of video. YouTube is a growing platform for bloggers, and I wanted to get a foothold over there as soon as possible. If you are follower of Mad in Crafts, you have noticed that I have been posting weekly videos this year. Some videos have been live hangouts, others have been prerecorded tutorials, and some have been shopping haul videos. I’ve learned so much about short video creation, but much of it has come from trial and error. Lots and lots of error.
I know that I am not the only blogger looking to expand into short video, and I wanted to share what I have learned with others so the could do it right the first time. I teamed up with my friend and fellow blogger Angie from The Country Chic Cottage to put together an ebook guide to getting your feet wet in the water of short videos.
Youtube is the number two search engine in the world, and the only way to be discovered is to start uploading your videos today. Learn how to optimize your Youtube channel and to harness the power of video. The Beginner’s Guide to Short Video is an 18 page ebook that helps bloggers dive into the world of short video creation, publishing, and promotion.
