Make Your Trips to the Gym Less Awful

For the past few months I have been regularly hitting the gym.  For most of my life, I have hated exercise just for the sake of exercise.  Running on a treadmill or doing crunches was at the bottom of my list of fun ways to spend my freetime.  As I have gotten older, I have started to appreciate the benefits of taking some time to take care of myself.  I do have some easy tips to making your visits to the gym much more enjoyable.

When I am not reading, I like to listen to some fun, high tempo music on my mp3 player.  I shared some of my favorite workout music a few years back.

Now those hours spent at the gym are something I look forward to. And, shockingly, I feel better afterwards, physically and emotionally.  But I also feel very thirsty.  I probably don’t drink as much water during the day as I should, and after a workout, it really shows.
