Last week, I told you about Design Seeds, one of my many internet crushes. The blog is solely dedicated to pulling gorgeous color palettes from inspiration pictures.
If you are having blogger’s block, a half hour on Design Seeds will restore your faith in all things beautiful. I rarely start a project without consulting DS first now.
Design Seeds can give you writing and project inspiration in so many ways.
The obvious use for Design Seed’s palettes is for choosing paint schemes for a room or a whole house. If I had a dining room, you better believe this is the palette I would use.
Have I told you my theory about peach making a comeback?
I think peach is making a comeback.
That’s pretty much the whole theory right there.
Design Seeds will help you look at everyday things in new, inspiring ways. Suddenly I was seeing the combination of colors in the pistachio nut I was eating. I was noticing the way the budding leaves contrasted with the grey rainy skies.
I am considering doing a Pumpkin themed party for my daughter’s first birthday party. Focusing in on these five colors could keep my fall decorating from going off the deep end.
Planning a wedding? The picture is of a rustic barn, but I think these colors would make for a very elegant indoor wedding reception. I’m seeing classic roses and lilies paired with sleek, modern tableware. Mercury glass candle holders.
To be fair, I have no idea where I would use this color scheme. But I love it. I just like looking at it. It makes me happy.
And if that isn’t inspiring, I don’t know what is.

This is amazing. Thanks for sharing. Actually, the first palette is very similar to what I have in my decor book for my home….it's a process :0

Curious as to where you purchased the rug at the top of this page (with color palate under it)?! Love it!
