Whether I am watching what I eat, like I am now, or not, I always keep yogurt in the house. It is a delicious, healthy snack that I can just grab and eat. Lately, I have been getting a little fancier with my yogurt, as you saw last week with my chocolate covered strawberry fro yo hearts. Even though the weather is still plenty cold, I like the little sumpin’ sumpin’ that freezing my yogurt adds. On my last shopping trip to Walmart, I stocked up on Yoplait® light and Greek 100 Whips! and popped them in the freezer when I unloaded my groceries. Then I decided to 1-up my cup even further by making some fresh lime fro-yo popsicles.
FRESH LIME FRO-YO POPSICLES
HOW TO MAKE LIME YOGURT POPSICLES
I used Yoplait® Light key lime pie flavored yogurt, but you can mix up the flavors however you would like. Vanilla would work, and I think coconut would be tasty too. I emptied the yogurt into a bowl, squeezed in the juice of half of a fresh lime, and zested the lime half into the bowl. I gave it all good stir and then spooned the mixture into my popsicle molds.
I put the molds in the freezer for two hours and my popsicles were ready to eat! These are a perfect treat when I am craving something a little sweet, but don’t want to blow all my day’s calories on a bowl of ice cream.
WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE LIME FRO-YO POPSICLES
I used push-up popsicle molds from IKEA for my treats, but you could use molds with handles or you could even freeze the mixture in a freezer-proof bowl.

Oh, that's a great idea! I hadn't thought of them as an after-exercise snack.
