USING THE READING CALENDAR
Hanging the printed calendar somewhere that your child has access (the front of the fridge is always a good spot!). Each day, read the day’s challenge with your child and encourage them to participate.
If you want to up the ante on the challenge, consider adding in some kind of prize element. You can let your child place a sticker on each day he or she completes the challenge, or you can promise a treat if they complete a whole week’s worth of challenges. Make it fun!
