HOW TO USE THE FUN BABY SHOWER GAME
It’s easy to use this printable game at your next baby shower. After you download the game PDF to your device, load your printer with standard white printer paper. The PDF has two pages. Print off one copy of the page with the rules and prep information. Then print off enough copies of the game page so that every guest at the party (and the parents-to-be) can have a copy.
PREPPING TO USE THE PRINTABLE GAME AT A BABY SHOWER
There is a little bit of legwork the baby shower party host needs to do before the party. This is explained on the rules page of the PDF. Head to a local store (or the store’s website) to price each item on the list. Write the prices on a copy of the game sheet. This game sheet will serve as the master answer key for your party. Be sure to add the prices up to have the total of what these items actually cost.
GUESS THE BABY ITEM PRICES GAME RULES
Hand out game sheets and pens or pencils to all the shower guests. Each player will estimate how much she thinks these baby items would cost at the local store and write that amount in the blank behind each item. After the baby shower guests have made their guesses, they should add up the total cost and write it in the blank at the bottom of the page. You should give the players 5-10 minutes to make their guesses.
Then the party host should read the actual cost of each of the items. I bet people will be surprised at how much these common baby items cost! Then the host will reveal the actual total costs of all these new baby needs. The player with the guess that is closest to the actual total wins!
Have prizes on hand for the game-winner, like small gifts, plants, or other keepsakes.
