It’s 5pm and your hubby calls on his way home from work to let you know that he has invited a few people over to the house… tonight! GACK! In addition to the facts that A) you are still in your jammies, B) the house is covered in dust, fruit snacks, and matchbox cars, and C) you haven’t washed your hair in three days, YOU DON’T HAVE TIME TO RUN TO THE GROCERY STORE! What are you going to serve these people?!?
Easy Fruit Cobbler
2 large cans of pie filling
1 box of butter flavored cake mix
1 1/2 sticks of butter, melted
Pour pie filling into 9×13 pan. Spread evenly. Sprinkle dry cake mix over fruit. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix. Bake at 350 for 45-50 or until crust is golden. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

I make this all the time, and it is FABULOUS! You also can make it with fresh or frozen fruit. My crew loves it made with frozen peaches.

I have a feature at my blog called: Terrific Thrifty Thursday and it is along the same lines as your Feature Friday. I thought your dessert was smart and I sometimes feature a recipe. Can I use one of your photos in my Terrific Thrifty Thursday so I can show people what it looks like before they click on the link?~~Ponytails

Do you think this would work just as well with the Country Crock Ready Sides Cinnamon Apples? I've got a few tubs on hand I need to do something with. I'll let ya know if it's a no go!
