I am a big fan of trying new craft beer. I tend to choose a flight of different beers to not have to pick just one when I am out at a restaurant. This simple beer party tasting game lets you taste a small sample of different beers and adds an element of competition as well!
BEER PARTY TASTING GAME
FREE BEER PARTY PRINTABLES
This post was sponsored by Online Labels. All opinions are 100% my own.
I was initially overwhelmed by the huge selection of fun labels on the Online Labels site, but I honed in on kraft paper labels that I could use for my Beer Swap Party. For the blind beer tasting, I chose the Cigar Band Style Soap Labels (OL1103BK) and designed the graphics myself.
I created quick graphics in PicMonkey and saved them to my computer. Then I used Maestro, Online Labels’ label software, to add them to the label template. The graphics were printed out onto the labels without any additional adjustments. Check out my video below to see how easy it is to put the tasting covers together.
HOW TO SET UP A BEER TASTING GAME
You will need to purchase 6 different varieties of beer. Many store allow you to create your own sampler pack of beer if you don’t want to buy six different 6-packs.
Next, remove the top label on the neck of each bottle of beer. You will be covering up most of the beer bottle in the next step, but the neck might still be visible.
Wrap each bottle with plain white printer paper. Wrap the printed label around the wrapped bottle to secure the paper in place. This should create a sheath for the bottle so you cannot tell what kind of beer it is. Repeat this for all 6 bottles.
Before playing the game, make sure the caps are removed from all of the bottles. Place the bottles on a table with small tasting cups. Let your friends sample the beer and try to guess which beer is which!
