I am excited to be participating in another round of Craft Lightning today. Each project created as a part of the series, run by Carolina of 30 Minute Crafts and Angie from The Country Chic Cottage, can be made in LESS than 15 minutes.
As part of past Craft Lightning Series, I have made Gold Burlap Candles, Faux Bronze Owls, Glitter Edged Holiday Coasters, and 15 Minute Faux Stacked Bangles.
In my continued effort to use every last possible bit of my thrifted plaid shirts, I created a quick and easy holiday candle display inspired by this vase design by Family Chic. It’s so simple, it’s almost silly. You can put this votive candle decoration together in under ten minutes, with absolutely no sewing.
To make a No-Sew Votive Candle Holder, you will need:

button down shirt
Begin by cutting out the placket of the shirt WHILE THE SHIRT IS BUTTONED. Then unbutton the two pieces.
Carefully clean up any uneven edges along the buttonhole piece and the button piece. Button the two pieces back together, and cut the ends off just past the last button on each end.
Slip glass candle votives into each of the slots created by the buttons.
Place the votive holder down the center of a table and light the candles for a pretty, cozy winter decoration!
