EASY CHOCOLATE PECAN FUDGE RECIPE
This homemade fudge recipe could not be easier! It takes three ingredients and about five minutes to whip up. After a few hours to let the fudge set up, you will be enjoying the decadent flavors of chocolate and pecans.
HOMEADE PECAN FUDGE RECIPE

- 8"x 8" pan
- non-stick cooking spray
- foil or parchment paper
- microwave-safe mixing bowl
- Spatula
Ingredients
- 3 cup chocolate chips
- 1 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup chopped pecans plus more to sprinkle on top
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 or similar sized pan with foil or parchment. Lightly spray with non-stick spray and set aside.
- In a microwave safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir to combine.
- Heat for one minute. Carefully remove and stir well. If needed, heat for an additional 30 seconds and stir until smooth. Mixture will be thick.
- Stir in the chopped pecans.
- Transfer the fudge to the lined baking pan. Press into the bottom and smooth into an even layer.
- Sprinkle with additional chopped pecans on top and press the nuts into the fudge to adhere.
- Allow to set at room temperature for about 4 hours or in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
- Use the foil or parchment to lift the fudge out of the pan.
- Cut and serve.
CHOCOLATE FUDGE RECIPE INGREDIENT SUBSTITUTIONS AND STORAGE
There are only 3 ingredients in this recipe and they can all be swapped out for variations.
- You can use any kind of chocolate chips you like best: milk, semi-sweet, or dark chocolate.
- Look for sweetened condensed coconut milk as a non-dairy alternative to standard condensed milk.
- If you don’t like pecans, you can swap them out for any nut that you like. Hazelnuts, almonds, and walnuts are all good options.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the fudge to make delicious turtle fudge.
- This fudge can be stored in an airtight container for about 1 week or frozen for 3 months.
