I am a big fan of handwritten recipes. I know there are countless recipes here on the internet, but there is something so special about a family recipe written out in your loved one’s own hand. Make sure to immortalize your family’s Thanksgiving recipes this year. I’ve made the process slightly easier by creating these free printable Thanksgiving recipe cards. Keep them on hand after the meal, so everyone can share their famous recipes!
PRINTABLE THANKSGIVING RECIPE CARDS
HOW TO GET THE PRINTABLE
I am so excited to give you these printables (and so many others) for free! To access the printables, sign up for a Mad in Crafts Freebies Membership using the form or by signing up HERE. Don’t worry, the membership won’t cost you a penny, but it WILL give you access to all of the freebies I have shared here on Mad in Crafts.
You will find this printable in the THANKSGIVING section of the Freebie Gallery.
HOW TO PRINT THE THANKSGIVNG RECIPE CARD PRINTABLES
Usually regular printer paper is fine for the printables I share here on the blog, but you really need to use card stock or heavier weight paper for recipe cards. Load your color printer with the paper, and change the settings on your computer to make sure you are printing at the highest quality. The PDF will print two recipe cards per sheet, so adjust the number of printouts accordingly. After you have printed the sheets, cut them apart with scissors or a paper trimmer.

USING THE FREE PRINTABLE RECIPE CARDS
Once you have the recipe card templates printed and cut apart they are ready for all of your Thanksgiving dinner recipes! Hand out recipe cards and pens on Thanksgiving and let each family member share her best Thanksgiving recipe. Make sure they have enough cards to give the recipe to any family member who would like it. This is a fun activity to do after dinner when everyone is sitting around the table and visiting. Make a fresh pot of coffee, and everyone can chat while they fill out the recipe cards.
