Hard times help us to realize how much we depend on the kindness of people around us. The pandemic showed me — even more than usual — how thankful I am for my family, friends, and community. If you are looking for ways to give back this year, I have created an acts of kindness challenge calendar that can help to direct your efforts.
ACTS OF KINDNESS CHALLENGE CALENDAR
SAVING THE PRINTABLE
I am so excited to share these printables with you free! To access the printables, sign up for a Mad in Crafts Freebies Membership using the form below or by signing up HERE. Don’t worry, the membership won’t cost you a penny, but it WILL give you access to all of the freebies I have shared here on Mad in Crafts.
When you have access to the Freebie Gallery, you will find these printables in the KIDS section.
HOW TO USE THE CHALLENGE CALENDAR
Even though I designed this kindness calendar with kids in mind, this resource features random acts of kindness that people of all ages can accomplish. The vast majority of the activities will cost you nothing but a little time and some elbow grease. You can either choose to try to cross off each small act of kindness on a day-by-day basis or you can use the calendar like a bingo board and see how many you can accomplish in the course of a month. When you help out people in your community, everyone wins!

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS DAY
The official Random Acts of Kindness day is in February, usually following Valentine’s Day. I hope you can get the whole family excited to create a culture of kindness during the entire month of February and beyond! If you end up using the calendar, take a picture and share it with me on Instagram. I would love to see it!
