HOW TO BOO YOUR NEIGHBORS
To get the fun started, print two pages for each neighbor you Boo: the “You’ve Been Booed!” note and the “We’ve Been Booed!” sign. You will include each page with your package of Halloween treats. One sheet explains how to keep the chain reaction of booing going, while the other is a sign they can tape to their front door so that neighbors know they’ve already been booed.
Hopefully, they will place the We’ve Been Booed! sign on their front door (so they don’t get Booed again) and then pay the Boo-ing forward to another neighbor. Eventually, your whole neighborhood will be in on the fun!
PUTTING TOGETHER THE HALLOWEEN BOO PACKAGE
How to Boo Your Neighbors for Halloween
- Save and print both of the Boo signs.
- Create a small care package of Halloween treats. Cookies, candy, favors, stickers, glow sticks, and small toys or activities all make great Boo-ing gifts. If you are booing adults, you can include some adult beverages too!
- Make sure to include both of the printables (the explanation and the sign) in the package.
- Leave the whole package on a neighbor’s porch, ring the bell, and run!
Creating the gift basket is the best part. You don’t have to break the bank putting it together. The dollar store has lots of treats and small favors that you can use to flesh out the gift. You can also include fun free printable activities like these:
