It was time for the Christmas wreath to come down from our front door, and I was able to create a simple Spring wreath using items I had in my stash. The wreath is elegant and rustic, and it will fit in with any type of home décor. Almost all of the materials for this wreath can be purchased at the dollar store, making it very affordable even if you don’t have everything on hand.
To make a Dollar Store Nest Wreath, you will need:
foam wreath form
twine
2 sizes of grapevine wreaths
dollar store foam eggs
paint
paintbrushes
glue gun
I already had my foam wreath wrapped up in twine since I was reusing the base of this Summer Yo-Yo Wreath I made a few years back. I used that same twine-wrapped base to make this Rustic Winter Wreath too. Reduce, reuse, recycle, friends!
I hot glued the larger of the two grapevine wreaths to one side of the twine-wrapped wreath.
I then glued the smaller grapevine wreath so it was nestled on the twine and grapevine wreaths.
I had these Faux Robin’s Eggs in my stash which I painted a few years ago also. Come back tomorrow for the VERY easy directions for making them. A little hot glue and they were in place too.
And just that quickly, you have a simple, elegant nest wreath that is perfect for Spring and Easter! Be sure to check out the other Easter projects below!
