I attended the Craft and Hobby Association’s huge trade show at the beginning of the year. This show is a good barometer of what trends are going to be big in the craft industry in the coming year. One of the big trends I noticed at the show was letter boards. Letter boards, and other kinds of personalizable message boards, were displayed by several different brands. If you are loving this fun trend, I have rounded up 10 ways to DIY a letter board yourself. If you are not the DIY type, I have also included some links to places you can buy a letter board at the end of the post.

SQUARE LETTER BOARD – TREASURES & TRAVELS

If you would rather buy a letter board rather than make your own, Heidi Swapp makes a super cute line of letter boards and accessories. These are all affiliate links, if you make a purchase (of anything on Amazon, not just these items) after clicking through, I will earn a small commission. Ads and affiliate links are the way I am able to keep this website running and to offer you free tutorials all year long. Thank you so much for supporting me and Mad in Crafts!

My Mom uses to use a letter board to remind us of things. It was posted on the front door. It would have reminders of chores that needed to be accomplished as well as “I love you” s and anything else she deemed fit. I have not thought about it in years, but I will start doing that with my kids.
