My husband is a little bit of a Grinch when it comes to Christmas music. I like to start listening to my favorite Christmas channels right after Halloween, but he can’t stand it, even in December. As a compromise, I tend to only really blast my Christmas music when I am in my car. That’s when I can crank up some ridiculously old-fashioned Christmas jams, and belt them out at stoplights.
This compromise works out well since I am in my car a lot more often around the holidays than I typically am. While the kids are gone at school, I drive around town running all my holiday errands and listening to these songs in my car.
Yes, “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas” is on there twice, but the Bing Crosby version is the classic and The Drifters’ version is too good to leave off the list. Also possibly controversial? I chose the Michael Buble version of “All I Want for Christmas is You” over Mariah Carey’s. Have you heard the Michael Buble version? It’s better.
Since I am running errands first thing in the morning, I need something I can eat in the car. I discovered these tasty frozen scones at Meijer, and they are great to eat on the go. I was already familiar with the Farm Rich line of frozen appetizers and snacks, so I was excited to see them release a new line of bakery items. I like being able to still have a hot breakfast, even though I am not at home long in the AM. Plus, I am binge-watching The Crown, so I feel extra fancy eating scones in the morning.
These Farm Rich frozen bakery products are also really great to keep on hand for holiday house guests. Without much fuss, you can offer fresh-baked scones, donuts, pull-aparts, or French toast sticks. You’ll look like the world’s best host without having to do any real work. If you’re lucky your house guests aren’t Grinches, and they will do a little Christmas karaoke with you!
Be sure to grab a coupon for money off your purchase, and think about signing up for the Farm Rich Loyalty Club to receive exclusive offers, news, quick recipes, snacking ideas and more.
