I don’t do a lot of Halloween decorating, so when I do I want to buy my supplies on the cheap. Thankfully Dollar Tree has a huge stock of Halloween decor and craft supplies in stock. I made a few runs to my local stores to let you know what I think is worth buying. Check out my Dollar Tree Halloween haul!
I originally filmed this video live on my facebook page, which is why you can hear me interacting with the comments from those who were viewing it live. If you would like to see the second half of the haul, you can find it here.
There were a few more supplies at Dollar Tree that I didn’t bring home with me. These supplies would also be great for your Halloween projects.
Earlier this week, I shared the Halloween garland I created for Angie’s List. I had my deco mesh on hand, but you can find similar supplies at Dollar Tree right now.
This was the first time I saw glow-in-the-dark paint at the dollar store. I have a few glow paint projects that you might be able to accomplish with these paints. Check out my Monster Eye Pillows and Something Wicked Sign for inspiration.
You could decorate a set of throw pillows (or the landscaping outside of your house) with these giant glow-in-the-dark googly eyes. My store had them in a variety of shapes. I liked these because you could make them look scary or silly depending on how you angle them.
I suppose this cute headband isn’t technically a craft supply, but it would make a great addition to a simple DIY Halloween costume. My DT also had some headbands with mini witch hat/birdcage veils that would work as an accessory for a cute witch costume.
In the video I mention the battery-powered tea lights, but you can also pick up these LED lights for inside of your pumpkins. These are a bit brighter, so they work better for large jack-o-lanterns.
