dripthat is a new app that allows you to share photos and videos when you want, with whomever you want. dripthat is different from other social sharing platforms in two ways.
First, you control the tempo in which you “drip” your content. Specify minutes, hours, days, even weeks in which to send out photos and videos.
Second, you get to control who sees your photos and videos. Specify what can be seen by the entire world and what can be shared with a select audience.
dripthat is fun for me as a blogger because I can share new photos and videos with you directly. I can tease out a new project or recipe, and gradually sharing more and more information over time.
I made up this drip as an example. Summer is prime rhubarb season, and the plant that I transplanted last year is growing like gangbusters, so it’s time for me to start thinking about what recipes I will make with my fresh harvest. I sent this out as a public album, but I could also have chosen to “drip” the content out, and only one photo would have posted at a time. I also shared this drip publically, but I could also have chosen to share the photos with a select group of other dripthat users to keep the photos private.
