I have been counting Weight Watchers points since the beginning of the year, and I have been pretty successful with my weight loss. One of my biggest temptations comes when we are at a get-together with a spread of tasty snacks. I am tempted to snitch just one or two bites of that cheese dip or one chicken wing, and before I know it I have a plate full of not-point-friendly food. When my parents had people over a few weeks back, I decided my addition to the snack table needed to be points-friendly BUT delicious enough that I wouldn’t be tempted to gorge on less healthy foods. These cheesecake strawberries were the amazing answer.

You only need three ingredients to make the recipe, and if you catch strawberries on sale, it is affordable as well. When you get home, wash and hull the berries, and then pipe filling into the cavity of each strawberry. That’s the whole process right there. Kids love these as well as adults, so they are a fun alternative to other sweets.
1WW Point Cheesecake Strawberries
If my math is correct, this whole recipe is only 15 points, which comes out to about 1/2 a point an ounce for the filling — berries are 0 points. Depending on how big your strawberries are, you can easily eat 7 or 8 of these bad boys for one point! The recipe makes a huge batch of filling, but it refrigerates well so you can keep it stored until you buy more berries.
If you can spare another point or so, crush up a handful of fat-free pretzels and dip the yogurt end of each strawberry into the pretzel bits right before you eat them. SO yummy!

What a combination. I love it. Swallowed half of them during preparation itself.
Nice work.
