I am not much of a gamer, but I do really enjoy playing games on our family’s Kinect. When Just Dance 2015 came in the mail, I was excited to give it a try with the kids. I spend too much time sitting as blogger, so it’s just as good for me to be active as it is for the kids to wear off their energy.
Just Dance 2015 is the perfect game to get the whole family up and moving. Players can dance along to hit songs like “Problem” by Ariana Grande ft. Iggy Azalea and “Happy” by Pharrell Williams, or classic favorites like “Walk This Way” by Run DMC & Aerosmith. Just be aware that if you have littler kids, you may end up hearing “Let It Go” and “What Does the Fox Say” on repeat!
This is not a video game for anyone who takes himself too seriously. Not only are you meant to look silly doing some of the dance routines, but the game records you while you are dancing and replays the video (sometimes in slo-mo) after your round is finished. There will be plenty of laughing as you bust whatever moves you can.
Just Dance 2015 allows up to four players to dance at once, so you can work together on new routines. I like that the kids are able to play a video game at the same time without having to compete with each other. The cooperative element keeps the mood light and fun as the whole family gets in on the action.
To bring awareness to National Bullying Prevention Month, Just Dance 2015 and Stomp Out Bullying have partnered to show people everywhere that “it’s okay to dance to your own beat!”
Just Dance 2015 is available for most of the newer gaming systems and would make a great Christmas gift for kids and teens (affiliate link). I know I will be bringing it out frequently during the long winter months, when the kids get squirrelly from the lack of outside time.

We have two of these games and they are very fun. My 9 year old is a better dancer than me! Gets you moving and grooving.
