I like baking, but I find that during the school year I don’t have the time or concentration to measure out ingredients and bake several batches of goodies. These muffins took me almost no time to make, and my kids love them as after school snacks!
My Kroger has a huge selection of Martha White® muffin mixes from blueberry to lemon poppy seed. I grabbed a few varieties — even though I was tempted to do the 10 for $10 I resisted this time.
My kids come home from school ravenous each day, so muffin mixes are an easy way to have something tasty on hand for them. All you have to do with these mixes is to add milk, pour into the muffin tin, and bake!
To jazz this batch of banana nut muffins up a bit, I spooned a little chocolate spread into the center of each section of batter. Now the muffins have a delicious chocolate-y center!
From tearing open the package to pulling the muffins out of the oven, I spent roughly 15 minutes on these muffins. I have another fabulous idea for these muffin mixes that you are not going to want to miss. Check back soon for that recipe!
