HOMEADE PECAN FUDGE RECIPE

Equipment

  • 8"x 8" pan
  • non-stick cooking spray
  • foil or parchment paper
  • microwave-safe mixing bowl
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • 3 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chopped pecans plus more to sprinkle on top

Instructions

  • Line an 8x8 or similar sized pan with foil or parchment. Lightly spray with non-stick spray and set aside.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir to combine.

  • Heat for one minute. Carefully remove and stir well. If needed, heat for an additional 30 seconds and stir until smooth. Mixture will be thick.
  • Stir in the chopped pecans.

  • Transfer the fudge to the lined baking pan. Press into the bottom and smooth into an even layer.

  • Sprinkle with additional chopped pecans on top and press the nuts into the fudge to adhere.

  • Allow to set at room temperature for about 4 hours or in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
  • Use the foil or parchment to lift the fudge out of the pan.

  • Cut and serve.
