Ingredients

  • 1 large and 1 small head of red cabbage shredded
  • 1 apple peeled and sliced
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 lb. pound of bacon
  • 2 cups of apple juice
  • 2 cups of sweet red wine
  • 1 cup of red wine vinegar

Instructions

  • Chop the bacon and cook it in a pan until crispy.
  • Remove it from the pan, and cook the apple and onion in the bacon grease.
  • Add all the ingredients into a crock pot and cook for 2-3 hours.
